Chat decisions disappear fast: the discussion happened yesterday, today nobody remembers what was agreed. This hurts teams and learning communities alike.

Habit #1: one summary message

After the discussion, post a short outcome message:

  • decision: what we’ll do
  • why: 1–2 reasons
  • when: next step / deadline
  • links: key messages/materials

Habit #2: separate discussion from decision

Don’t force people to read 150 messages for one conclusion.

Habit #3: weekly digests

If you have many outcomes, collect them weekly. Related: weekly community digests.
